If Outdoor Adventures cancels a trip, a full refund will be issued. Special considerations regarding refunds may be made in the case of personal or medical emergencies at the discretion of the Outdoor Coordinator. Some extended trips will have an earlier posted registration deadline for confirmation requirements with vendors. Any cancellation within 24 hours of the registration deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Participants who cancel less than one week prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of 50% of the trip registration fee. In an effort to recuperate administrative costs, participants who cancel less than two weeks prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of 75% of the trip registration fee. Participants who cancel more than two weeks prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on any outdoor trip. Some extended trips with more elaborate travel or equipment may require a larger deposit and earlier final payment deadline.
The remaining balance is due prior to the pre-trip meeting. For trips of four or more days, a deposit of at least $100 is due in order to reserve a space. For trips of three days or less in length, full payment is due at registration to reserve a space.
